Early Interventions Resource Center

Lung Cancer Alliance (LCA) has launched its new online Early Interventions Resource Center, a comprehensive guide providing a better understanding of lung cancer in its earliest, most treatable stages by addressing lung cancer risk, early detection, surgical treatments and upcoming research.

The Early Interventions Resource Center provides information on lung cancer risk, early detection, surgical treatments and upcoming research.

Located on LCA's web site at www.lungcanceralliance.org/eirc/, the Early Interventions Resource Center addresses risks, testing methods and treatment options, providing detailed answers to three fundamental questions:

  • Learn about lung cancer risk factors. What do they mean for you? What should you do if you or someone you know is at high risk for the disease?

  • Learn about lung cancer early detection. Where can you go for testing?
What questions should you ask? What follow-up is needed? What is the future of early detection research?

  • Learn about all treatment options for lung cancer. Should I get surgery? Where should I go for treatment? What treatments are right for me?
