The CDC budget for FY07 included $201 million for breast and cervical cancer initiatives, $13.9 million for prostate cancer, and $14.4 million for colon cancer.

Be part of a fleet of canoes paddling down the Chattahoochee River to help raise awareness and find a cure for lung cancer!

The participants will be shuttled to Garrard Landing where, after a quick lesson, they will set off down the Hooch to enjoy the serenity of the water, the forested banks, and the curious wildlife.
The party will break for a picnic lunch on the shoals and have the opportunity to wade through the water. The adventurous can swing from a rope over the river.
