It is important to be well informed to make good decisions. If diagnosed or a loved one is diagnosed, you may want to ask some of the following questions:
What type of lung cancer is it? Small-cell or non-small cell?
What stage is it in?
What are my treatment options?
Are there any clinical trials available?
What are the side affects of the drugs?
(Ask the doctor for a print out, or "Google" the drugs on the web.)
